Real-time data denotes information that is delivered immediately after collection. There is no delay in the timeliness of the information provided. Real-time data from NSE refers to programmatic real-time auctions that sell digital-ad impressions. Entities on both the buying and selling sides of equity shares require almost instantaneous access to data in order to make decisions, forcing real-time data to the forefront of their needs. It is the most important and live data from the exchange
ii) EOD Data
EOD data feeds provide the end of day closing price for the given equity and is typically updated once a day at market close.
7. NSE Real Time Data Provider.
To judge the quality of Real Time Data provided by the real time data providers we sould look into the following key facts:
Truly "real time data feed": Quality always gets priority when it comes for stock market data. The tick by tick movement of the charts should be true enough to tally with any live terminals.
After sales service: The after sales service that is provided by some data providers are not upto the mark. Customer support should be given so that the rapport with the existing as well as new customers is maintained.
Simplicity is the key: The real time data feed softwares like Metastock and Amibroker are both very simple, extremely user friendly, robust but very small in size. All are made according to Indian stock trader`s choice. These software are very well integrated with the data feed from www.rtdsdata.com or www.esignal.com which makes techincal analysis easy for the traders.
Capability of problem solving and data recovery: We use Distributed Server technology. Data backfilling and data recovery are crucial for stock market data. Many other data providers are unable to recover lost data. But we can do it perfectly. So traders can never loose what they are paying for.
Simultaneous updations of multiple scripts: Might be unbelievable but RTDS have made this revolutionary technology possible. Stock Traders and analysts are very busy during trading hours. It is very tough for them to separately select and update scripts. With the softwares like these are no problem because everything is automatic, both backfilling and real time update all are simultaneous.
Long-run stability and service: Many data providers emerge in market suddenly! With shiny website. But most of them are just copy-cat single person unorganised farms. So they lack in quality and service. After few months they just collapse, vanishes from market.
The Real Time Data providers that are available in the stock market of India are many. Some of them are www.rtdsdata.com, E Signal etc.

Some companies like www.rtdsdata.com are quite good when it comes to maintaining quality standard of NSE Data feed.
